Hello There!

So another month passed and there are news.

Life stuff - So this week (04.17.) I went for an interview as a technician and I already got the job.

My colleague from my old job recommended me and they really like my Resume, so they mostly needed my approval.

So at least my finance problems kinda solved :D I hope it's won't be bs in the end.

Art stuff - I was looking around and found some sketches about Ideas I had long ago..but forgot them.

Thinking through it was a time, when my life was a bit...unpleasant and toxic.

So there are projects I salvaged from these old sketches and I'll mostly work on those.

( the "Ritualist" is one of them )

Also planning to do some 3D projects in the future.

Hello There!

New update already..so this month is not really fun for me currently.

My Steam and Twitter (X) account got hacked. The good thing I was able to save my steam

(even though my friends list got wiped).

The bad thing is because I didn't seen anything unsusual with my Twitter account..it got suspended

and I might not be able to recover it. I wrote for the support, but don't think it will help much.

I changed a lot of the passwords I have on my accounts so..preparing for the worst.

I wasn't posting much on Twitter, but I had it since 2016 and followed a lot of people on that.

On the art front, I work on some stuff, commission and other projects.

I'll Post them soon as I finished some of them.

It's a short and quick update of the current situation.

Update time!

I know it's kinda random when I do these monthly.

As the title say I'm still searching for a job. People don't respond or just deny me after an interview.

It's not that I'm rude or anything. I say my part and that's it, of course answer a few questions.

Made some changes with my workflow artwise. Trying to "get shit together" and focusing on my art.

Currently focusing on a bit to much at the same time, so that slows me down aswell :D

Family is currently too eager to take my time up with their stuff...which is a bit annoying.

This one is a bit brief and short sorry about that.

Well Hello there!

Update post after a few month's. Had nothing new to share since I'm still trying to get a job.

So far that didn't go well...I try everything I can to leave a good expression and end up failing.

Family not making stuff easier even now that I'm not there for more than a year now.

So art update so made some sketches during this time, but rarely share does (or worth..)

After the holidays I'm started to collect my thoughts a bit about what to do this year.

Started learning coding...from the very basics before confusing myself more.

( Dyscalculia...it the one with numbers not words )

I have a bigger project I started working on around November, but that will take some time before announcing anything.

The monthly drawing thing kinda fell apart with trying to do Inktober which kek didn't worked and did something else.

Still I try to do the at least 1-2 drawing a month thing this year.

I'm still open for any questions.

Hey there!

So I didn't do a update last month, because welp I had nothing extra to write and was kinda busy.

Now I have some good and bad news. I was experimenting with some stuff as usual (shading, lineart etc.)

I'm slowly figuring out the way I want to do art and stuff, but still there is a way to improve.

That was kinda the good news...

The bad is I just got fired from my day job, because being an IT/Graphic designer/video editor/Camera guy

is not an 8 hours job according to my boss. I'm not salty, just worry a bit since I was the only one who provided

money for food and rent at home. As I mentioned I was able to move out with my partner from my toxic parents,

but they also lost their job. Currently waiting to get my papers to be able to apply to other jobs.

Until I was able to get a job I guess I have more time to work on my art and the place I live in for now..

Hello there!

Had a 2 weeks vacation the end of July. Done some stuff, sadly worked on less on my art.

Back at work trying to figure out which way I want to really go with my art.

Experimented a bit on my rendering an style. Interested on trying to

learn Live2D besides Blender. Some games came out during this time,

so I'm trying to balance my free-time.

Not really a very talkative guy, but still try to commit to this update every month.

First of all: name change happened here and most of the places I upload (if it's available)

Summer break is here so I hope it will be more chill and I'll have more time to work on my stuff.

( I work at a private school)

As I mentioned I try to keep myself with at least 2 drawings a week, mostly for practice and stuff.

I might mentioned I started to do some 3D stuff, don't know if I should post pictures about it or not ._.

Also thinking about which character of mine should I focus more on with my art.

Currently sick (2023.07.03) but hope still get some stuff done.

This is kinda the first blog since I'm here.

So hello there, I'm Alex/Maou!

I'm a 2D artist who's working as an IT guy. I know you first check my bio and see that I joined in 2014 and this is the first time I wrote anything here. I have welp ADHD since birth also was in a toxic environment ( parents etc.) at the point I have to take meds for anxiety and depression. Oh yeah and I'm introverted...yay? (just to clarify some stuff, not for attention)

The main thing that since I was able to temporary(?) move from that environment, I got more and more into stuff I'm interested in and like. That is firstly drawing again and improving my art process and style. Other hand 3D and animation again. I'm planning to upload minimum 2 art piece a month. Depends how my work allows it.

Second is that I'm changing my name from MidoriMaou to Endangered Cryptid soon.

My reasons are mostly that since my life changed a bit I could use some "fresh air"

I came up MidoriMaou when I was like 18-19 and was watching a lot of anime (surprise..)

So the classic "I wanted an edgy name with stuff I like" so yeah... also the new one is catchy I think.

I'm still Alex or Maou to friends and others.

The name change might happen around next week.

Also I'll try to post a blog at least once a month.
